Learn Quran Online in Nottingham with a Qualified Teacher
Finding a Quran teacher online should be simple. At our website, you choose a course, get paired with a teacher, and meet for a live lesson over video call. There are no recorded videos to work through alone. Your teacher listens, corrects and guides you in real time, just as they would in a classroom, but from your own living room.
One-to-One Quran Lessons
In a crowded class, a mispronounced letter can go unnoticed for months. In a one-to-one lesson, your online Quran tutor hears every word you recite and can correct mistakes the moment they happen.
- Individual attention: the whole lesson is focused on you or your child.
- Pronunciation correction: small errors in letters and sounds are caught early, before they become habits.
- Lessons at your level: the pace and material are set by what the student can do now, not by a fixed class syllabus.
- For every stage: complete beginners and confident readers refining their recitation are both welcome.
Learn From Home Without Travelling
For many Nottingham families, the hardest part of Quran study is simply getting there. Online lessons remove the journey entirely.
- No travelling to a mosque or madrasa, whatever the weather
- Easier for parents, with no pick-ups, drop-offs or waiting around
- A good fit straight after school, when children are already home
- Practical for busy adults who can fit a lesson around work or study
All you need is a device with a camera, a microphone and a stable internet connection.
Quran Courses Available for Nottingham Students
Knowledge Quran offers a range of courses so students can begin at the right place and keep progressing. Your teacher can recommend where to start after a short assessment of your current level.
Noorani Qaida
Noorani Qaida is the foundation of Quran reading, and it is where most beginners should start. If you want to learn Noorani Qaida online, lessons begin with Noorani Qaida Lesson 1 , which introduces the individual Arabic letters and their sounds, then move on to how letters join to form words. Our Noorani Qaida online course is ideal for beginners of any age, children starting Arabic for the first time, and adults who want to learn the basics properly, at their own pace and in private.
Quran Reading with Tajweed
Tajweed is the set of rules that governs how the Quran is recited. In these lessons, your teacher helps you build accurate, confident recitation by correcting the pronunciation of each letter, practising Makharij (the points of articulation in the mouth and throat), and introducing core Tajweed rules step by step, so your reading becomes fluent and mistakes don’t become habits.
Quran Memorization / Hifz
Memorizing the Quran takes consistency, and it helps to have structure. Hifz lessons for children and adults follow a structured plan for new lessons, so progress stays steady, with regular revision of what has already been memorized. Progress tracking lets students and parents see how far they have come, and support is available whether you are memorizing the full Quran or selected Surahs.
Quran Translation and Tafseer
Reciting the Quran is a blessing, and understanding it adds meaning to every verse. Students who can already read can move on to translation and Tafseer, learning what the verses say, the context in which they were revealed and how their lessons apply to daily life. If you want to learn Quran in English, your teacher can work through an English version of the Quran with you, explaining each verse alongside the Arabic. We also teach online Quran with Tarjuma, and students who prefer Urdu can join online Quran Tarjuma Urdu lessons, so the meaning is understood in the language they are most comfortable with.
Islamic Studies and Daily Duas
These lessons cover the practical knowledge every Muslim needs, taught in a way that suits the student’s age. Topics include:
- Salah: how to pray, step by step
- Daily duas, learned with meaning and correct pronunciation
- Basic Islamic teachings and beliefs
- Islamic manners and character
Quranic Arabic
Students who want to go further can learn Quranic Arabic online, building vocabulary and grammar so they can follow the text more directly. Ask us about availability when you enquire.
