Cancellation & Leave Policy

Knowledge Quran Centre (KQC), operated by AA Fast International Pvt Ltd

Effective date: 2 November 2026

1. Cancellation at any time

An adult student or parent/guardian may cancel classes or the applicable subscription at any time, without a notice period or obligation to state a reason. Requests can be made through the LMS student portal or the official WhatsApp channel. Cancellation is effective immediately; classes and future recurring charges for the affected student stop.

2. Refund following cancellation

Eligible unused tuition is refunded according to the separate Refund Policy, calculated using the monthly tuition paid divided by 30 and the remaining eligible days. Refunds are normally processed within seven working days, subject to verification and payment provider delays.

3. Family accounts and re-enrollment

Cancelling one child’s enrollment does not automatically cancel siblings’ lessons or payments. Students may re-enroll without an additional admission fee, but ordinary new tuition applies and teacher/time availability cannot be guaranteed.

4. Short leave – fewer than 30 days

A leave lasting fewer than 30 days is treated as short leave. The full monthly tuition remains payable; short leave does not suspend the normal monthly charge.

5. Long leave – 30 days or more

Long leave begins at 30 days. There is no fixed maximum leave duration or advance notice requirement. A student or parent/guardian may choose whether to retain the existing teacher.

6. Retaining the teacher

To retain the same teacher during long leave, a monthly teacher retention fee equal to 50% of the normal tuition is charged for the relevant leave period. The existing teacher is reserved, but the former class time is not guaranteed. The recurring charge is adjusted to 50%. Retention fees for periods already provided are non-refundable, except as described below.

7. Not retaining the teacher

If the student does not wish to retain the teacher, no fee is charged for the long-leave period and recurring payments stop. The unused portion of prepaid tuition from the leave start date is refundable according to the Refund Policy. On return, a teacher is assigned subject to availability; the previous teacher is not guaranteed.

8. Mid-month leave and early return

For long leave beginning mid-month, the applicable 50% retention fee or zero-fee arrangement starts from the leave start date, with prepaid tuition adjusted accordingly. Lessons may resume at any time. If a student returns mid-month after paying retention fees, the remaining period’s full tuition is calculated and retention amounts already paid for the overlapping period are credited against it.

9. Retention payment interruption and teacher departure

If retention payments stop, the teacher reservation ends. If a retained teacher leaves KQC, KQC will offer a replacement teacher or, at the student or parent/guardian’s request, refund the applicable retention fee. This specific exception overrides the general non-refundable retention fee rule.
