These signs are ongoing and observable in the current era, reflecting the moral and spiritual decline that precedes the end times. We witness the several signs that are mentioned in various Hadiths. These signs also known as minor signs of the Day of Judgement:

  1. When authority is given to those who are not qualified, then await the Day of Judgment.” (Bukhari: 6496)
  2. When unjust people will become your rulers.
  3. When your affairs are managed by women. (Tirmidhi: 2266)
  4. A slave woman giving birth to her master (Ibn Majah: 63)
  5. Barefoot and naked shepherds competing in building tall structures (Ibn Majah: 63)
  6. The disappearance of knowledge and the emergence of ignorance (Bukhari: 7121)
  7. The emergence of false claimants of Prophethood (Bukhari: 7121)
  8. Time will pass quickly (Bukhari: 7121)
  9. Killing will increase
  10. Fornication will be a common practice.
  11. Earthquakes will occur
  12. Trials and Tribulations for the Ummah
  13. When the national treasury is considered personal wealth
  14. Public trusts are looted
  15. Zakat is seen as a burden
  16. Religious knowledge is sought for worldly gain
  17. A man obeys his wife but disobeys his mother
  18. Draws his friend close but distances his father
  19. Voices are raised in the mosques (indicating disputes)
  20. The wicked become the leaders of tribes
  21. The nation’s affairs are in the hands of the unworthy
  22. A person is honored out of fear of their harm
  23. Alcohol is consumed openly
  24. Music and singing women become widespread
  25. The later generations curse the earlier ones

It is narrated by Abu Hurairah, these minor signs of the Day of Judgment will occur in rapid succession, just like beads of a necklace falling one after the other when its string is cut.” (Sunan al-Tirmidhi: 2211).

Future Signs That Await
